Glasses for Fluorescent Lights: Axon Optics
What are the best glasses for fluorescent lights? Light is one of my biggest triggers. Because of that, I am always wearing sunglasses, turning off lights, and hiding from fluorescent lights. That’s why I love my fluorescent light migraine glasses.
In the doctor’s office, at work, and while shopping, I need light filtering glasses to help. I wear indoor and outdoor glasses but often struggle with wearing glasses inside until I found Axon Optics. Wearing sunglasses indoors can be bad for my eyes so I finally found a pair that fits my indoor light sensitivity needs.

Glasses to Help with Fluorescent Lights
Today I went to see my neurologist as usual. I was prepared and wore my Axon Optics glasses. As I sat there and reached for a magazine I saw a coconut painted with the saying, “You aren’t nuts, migraines hurt.” Well isn’t that the truth? This was actually one of the first things I saw when I went to my neurologist over 10 years ago. It was a place I knew I wanted to be. They are right, I’m not nuts…I’m hurting. When I went into the waiting room, I felt so much better because my glasses blocked the harmful fluorescent lights.
Now if only they would unplug the clock. The ticking is like a small nail being hammered into my skull with each second. I have never understood why a neurologist’s office, of all places, would have such triggers surrounding it.
Glasses that Block Fluorescent Lights
I have seen a request not to wear perfume while visiting the office which is a nice consideration. But what about the fluorescent lights? Why do they need to be so bright? I can understand a surgical center or a place that needs additional light to diagnose, but I have an invisible disease….no lights needed. They have turned off the lights at appointments for me when I’m in heightened pain but not often. Therefore, I now always wear my fluorescent light sensitivity glasses, Axon Optics.
