It’s my Birthday: Still Swimming
Today is my birthday and I’m still swimming…kinda. It’s the week before school starts and a time to soak up every last bit of summer. This summer I spent a lot of time at the pool watching my son learn how to swim and watching my daughter turn from “the most dedicated swimmer” last year to the “most valued swimmer” this year. It was such a lesson to physically hold a trophy that showed how hard work pays off. Should Everyone Get a Trophy: Participation Medal?
It reminds me of my favorite birthday post. It seems to ring true each year. Each year I struggle, each year I move forward, learn, and keep my head above water. Thanks for the birthday wishes and for continuing to follow along on My Migraine Life! It’s a blessing to wake up each day (although I’m in pain) surrounded by love ❤️ If you’d like to wish me a happy birthday, I’m happy to connect on Facebook. If not, comments on the blog are always welcome and well wishes are not necessary.
I’m no butterfly swimmer but I just keep swimming in life!
