Best Migraine Buddy App: Free Migraine and Headache Tracking App

migraine buddy

Migraine Buddy App is a migraine and headache tracking app.  They already have a version for Android and it has been a great success.  Migraine Buddy is a tracking and reporting app.  It is designed by neurologists and data scientists.  After speaking with them, I found that they are a group of people who genuinely care about migraineurs which are refreshing and inspiring.  Signing up does not cost anything or enter you into any agreement.

The Migraine Buddy App is a migraine tracking app that first was launched on Android and now is available for iOS users. I have been using this app since the day it launched and think its value of it is great!

Migraine Tracking App

I have tracked my migraine on and off for years. Now that I have the Migraine Buddy App on my phone I can enter or edit data quickly, easily, and conveniently.  I find that tracking my migraine along with other data allows me to better understand trends. I can educate myself on the frequency, cause, and treatment that may be working.  The app guides me through a series of questions about my migraine.  I record a migraine by answering when it begins, the intensity, triggers, menstruations, medication, reliefs, helpful reliefs, affected activities, symptoms, aura, onset pain location, and the location it occurred.  Being accountable to answer these questions makes me look more closely at my migraine. I look at how, when, and why my migraine may have occurred or subsided.  As a bonus, I have been able to add information and notes that are unique to my needs.

Migraine Data

The Migraine Buddy App data is put into a calendar which is easily seen to edit or reference later.  You can get a report to give to your doctor. The report includes percentages of when it happened, the top three triggers and symptoms, along with pain intensity minimum, average and maximum along with menstruation data  The creators of the Migraine Buddy App value feedback and allows you to leave it with them. There are categories that provide news, information about the team, tips, and migraine stories.  These categories encourage a community of users to relate to each other.  Like any good app, I believe it is getting better every day which hopefully will help its users do the same.

Free Migraine and Headache Tracking App

Migraine Buddy is offering the app for free on its launch date of March 27th.  If you plan on doing any tracking for your migraines, it makes sense to take advantage of this offer now. The person with the most points gets to choose the Migraine Foundation/Charity that will receive $1,000.  As we all know, migraine funding is wildly lacking and every penny counts!  $1,000 can go a long way and I’d love to help.

Some of the charities I would be able to choose from would be Migraine Action, American Migraine Foundation, 36 Million Migraine Campaign, American Headache, and Migraine Association, Migraine Research Foundation, The Migraine Trust, Headache Cooperative of New England, National Headache Foundation, National Migraine Centre, Migraine Quebec, Association of Migraine Disorders, Migraine Ireland Brain Foundation, or OUCH (UK) Cluster Headaches.

Not only do I want to donate money to these charities, but I also want you to reap the benefits of this launch.  I can’t wait to use the app and will be doing a review about it as soon as possible.  No matter how much I think I understand my migraines and what triggers them or my symptoms from them, there is still a great amount I can learn about them.  Tracking all of my migraine treatment and data will teach me about myself and my doctors on how to better treat me.  Don’t miss out on the Migraine Buddy launch.  Sign up today…and tell them I sent you!
