National Puppy Day 2018: My Golden Retriever

National Puppy Day

Happy National Puppy Day!  Every year I post a picture of my dog.  She is my nurse, my therapy, my medicine, and my first child.  As I was locked in my room with a 3-day Migraine from hell, guess who slept beside me?  Guess who kept me company in the middle of the night while the pain was raging?  My dog.  She’ll always be my puppy!  My almost 13-year-old puppy! Check out more pictures of her on Instagram.

I’m glad you have her for company & support. I’m a tiny (huge) big jealous as I’ve longed for a golden retriever (who I’ve already named Finn) for years now. My heart aches. Your puppy is gorgeous – this a lovely tribute! 🙂

I can’t wait to someday see pictures of Finn if he comes into your life. She also thinks she’s a mother to my children and they love her just as much (well, they can’t love her like me but close) ❤️❤️
