Photophobia Glasses: Axon Optics Review

Photophobia Glasses

Photophobia glasses help the condition associated with extreme sensitivity to light. I live with daily photophobia with migraine and daily headaches. My Axon Optics review is positive because it helps me with this constant migraine battle. I use glasses to help with my sensitivity to light naturally. My sensitivity to light is a migraine symptom,  migraine trigger and Axon Optics is my photophobia treatment.

I have used Axon Optics for many years and don’t just recommend them. I’m an affiliate for them which means I will be rewarded if you purchase through my links. I’ve been a fan of them because they make my light sensitivity more tolerable and I see them striving to help the migraine community. They are interested in helping customers and giving back. This is why they offered to give a discount code (SARAH20) and are giving away a pair of indoor migraine glasses and CBD oil to one lucky winner.

Ways to Help Photophobia

There are a lot of ways I fight light sensitivity naturally. I avoid bright fluorescent lights and when I can’t, I wear my Axon photophobia glasses. Natural light is best when possible. Inside, I control lighting with Allay Green Light, light dimmers, and lamps. I use blackout shades and curtains on my windows. The brightness on my screens is adjusted on all devices and I wear tinted lenses indoors. I wear a hat and polarized sunglasses outside.

Why I need Photophobia Glasses

As a migraine symptom, I experience a range and combination of discomfort. It can range from pain, headache, nausea, squinting, burning, and tearing. I have worn glasses since I was in kindergarten. At the same time, I had my first migraine. Since then, I have always had regular checkups with my eye doctor and discussed my migraine disease with her. Wearing the correct lenses at the correct time is important for keeping my hyperactive brain as calm as possible. Having the right prescription and tint helps with eye strain and migraine triggers.

Specially-tinted lenses are designed to block wavelengths most commonly associated with triggering photophobia symptoms. Axon Optics has designed a way to do this without blocking other types of light, so vision remains clear and unimpeded. Wearing sunglasses inside can worsen photophobia which is why the correct tint should be used. The use of Fl-41 lenses inside will not result in the dark adaption of the retina. FL-41 tint has been shown to reduce the impact of migraine attacks

Axon Optics Review

To start with, I love Axon Optics. I have been given Axon Optics photophobia glasses to review and have worn them for years now! They are not a brand that I tried and forgot about. They are migraine glasses that I find relief with. Axon Optics has a variety of outdoor and indoor glasses and can accommodate your frame and needs. They have ones that wrap, cover, and are light and stylish. I wear my Dalliance outdoor frames and Jura indoor frames.

I’m not a doctor and can’t explain all the science to you. But I do know what helps my light sensitivity and these are it for me. I love my Axon migraine glasses because my light sensitivity stops me from having a good time. I’m happy I discovered them because they allow me to enjoy more outdoor and indoor activities that otherwise would be painful.

Axon Optics review

I use my indoor frames every day and keep them in my purse wherever I go. Grocery stores and fluorescent lights are very harmful to me. In my classroom, I wear them on days that natural light is not enough. At home, I wear them on my computer, watching tv, and when the lights are too bright when helping my kids with homework. My indoor frames are priceless in my migraine tool kit.
